A 13 feet marble stature of Christopher Columbus on the 62 feet granite column, that has been stanidng in the middle of Columbus Circle for more than 100 yers, is under maintenance. At the same time, in conjunction with Tatzu Nishi: Discovering Columbus, Public Art Fund will oversee the conservation of the Columbus Monument in cooperation with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.

A view of Eighth Avenue from A bird view of Columbus Circle, entrne to Central Park Broadway and CPW Admission is free, but advance ticket is needed
